…that’s right, they’re is still in! L O L .
Yes, you read me correctly. Cold shoulders have definitely come back in full effect for the Fall. I can still recall the fisrt time I came across a cold shoulder top. They left me a bit confused, but intrigued nonetheless. The idea of being able to show a little skin without compromising myself and risking being inopropriate was ultimately what won me over. I got a jump start on my #fallfix with a sweatshirt for under $20. That is a steal for something I plan to sport up until the snow starts falling….At least thats what I told the hubby (ie…excuse to get away with the purchase). Ha!
….Because, who couldn’t use a billion dollars? I wanted to be confortable this weekend and knew a looser fitting knit sweatshirt would do the trick! I paired this sweater with a good ole pair of black and white converse tennis. Next time I think I may pair this with THESE jeans and THESE sneakers.
Distressed jeans anyone? Has this trend hit an all time high? Or is it just me? Sooo maany questions lol, but I can’t blame anyone, that’s for sure! I would honeslty wear a pair or distressed jeans 3-4 days out of the week if I could.I wore these jeans since they added a subtle hint of detail without taking away from the cutouts in my sweatshirt.
Dealing with weather that goes from cold-hot-raining-hotter-then cold again, my not so thick sweater allowed me to adjust with ease. Im definitely trying to make it though these ever changing temps here in STL. The compliments I got on my top sure did keep me smiling though, lol!
Wanna know what I love most about this cold shoulder trend? Its so versatile! Not only can I wear them when the weather switches up, but I can go either dress it up or dress it down. You simply cannot beat that. Let me know what #FallTrends you will be strutting your stuff in this season. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments!
